The Kootenay Gallery serves the West Kootenay Region with a variety of exhibitions and public programming for all ages and is operated by a Board of Directors and staff who strive to accomplish the goals set in our mission statement.

The Kootenay Gallery of Art creates a welcoming and engaging environment where people are motivated to transform their understanding of the world by connecting with the visual arts.

MISSION

The Kootenay Gallery of Art is a principal gallery for the visual arts within the West Kootenay region of British Columbia. The Gallery is committed to include, through exhibitions and programming a diversity of artists and art forms that enrich, challenge and educate the audience.
