Grief, Grit and Gratitude
April 18 @ 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm$10 – $25
Developing Resiliency in the Face of Climate Crisis
In the face of the growing social, political and ecological challenges of our era, it is important for us to have focused times and safe spaces to anchor our connection with what deeply matters withing ourselves and with the world we care about. This workshop is based in part on the work of Joanna Macy. It will offer an opportunity for sharing the many emotions which arise: grief, shock, anger, guilt, etc. in a small group setting surrounded by creativity and nature. This can help us find gratitude, meaning and resiliency in order to actively move forward together.
Facilitated by Jan Inglis
Offered by the Kootenay Gallery of Art in conjunction with the exhibition After Eden by Stephanie Kellett and Robert Livingood.
No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
