“Carved, Painted and Crafted” – Kate and Jerry Enewold
The Kootenay Gallery of Art is pleased to present Carved, Painted and Crafted, a captivating exhibition by local artists Kate and Jerry Enewold.
The Gallery will host an opening reception on March 5 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Guests are invited to meet the artists, enjoy refreshments, and experience the exhibition firsthand. The exhibition runs through April 18.
Spanning four decades of artistic exploration, Carved, Painted and Crafted celebrates the Enewolds’ remarkable creative journey. The exhibition features an extraordinary range of finely crafted work in wood, expressive painting, intricate weaving, and distinctive jewelry designs, reflecting the artists’ shared commitment to craftsmanship, material exploration, and artistic growth.

Retrospective by Carol Reynolds
A Retrospective of Nelson artist Carol Reynolds honours a lifetime of creativity. Best known for her colourful oil paintings of landscapes and birch trees, including a beloved mural at the Gallery. Showcasing works in oil, paper and ceramic, the exhibition explores both her well-known imagery and lesser-seen aspects of her creative practice.
Disparity by Rosemary Manarin
Castlegar artist and author Rosemary Manarin presents Disparity, a thoughtful series of oil paintings inspired by her travels. The exhibit reflects on the economic and social hardships she has witnessed in developing nations, set in contrast with the natural beauty of the West Kootenay region she calls home.
Both exhibitions run from January 29, 2026, through to February 28, 2026.
