KOOTENAY GALLERY WELCOMES THIS SEASON’S WINNER OF
GREAT CANADIAN BAKING SHOW
CAKE DECORATING DEMO, WORKSHOP, AND RECEPTION WITH LOÏC FAUTEUX-GOULET
The Kootenay Gallery is thrilled to showcase the ephemeral and delicious art of cake decorating by hosting the winner of this past season’s Great Canadian Baking Show, Loïc Fauteux-Goulet, to the Gallery on Sunday, May 5th. Mr. Fauteux-Goulet will provide a demonstration of both 2D and 3D cake decorating techniques for creating beautiful floral designs for a limited number of registrants, who will then have the opportunity to decorate their own cakes under his tutelage.
Limited to 20 registrants. (Must be 16 yrs and up. Minors aged 16-18 must be accompanied by a registered parent or guardian.)
The doors will then open to the general public for a meet and greet reception and an opportunity to hear Mr. Fauteux-Goulet speak about his culinary journey, while enjoying refreshments and a slice of cake baked by Mr. Fauteux-Goulet himself. Registration is also required for the reception.
Limited to 50 registrants.
Folks are welcome to register for either the cake demo/workshop (which includes the reception) or just the reception itself. Members of the Gallery will have an opportunity for exclusive registration until April 9th, after which time the general public is welcome to register.

- by phoning the Gallery at 250-365-3337
- by visiting the Gallery at 120 Heritage Way and registering in person. Please note the Gallery is open from 10 am to 5 pm, Tuesdays through Saturday.
