Kleine has created seven individual, life-size bronze and glass warrior helmets that reference Roman helmets and express the idea that we have a spiritual connection in this world that is both beautiful and complex. Each helmet represents one of the seven “major chakras” of the human body. The chakras (“chakra” is Sanskrit for “wheel”) are energy centres positioned along the human spine considered to be associated with specific energies of the human body and of consciousness, ranging from those to do with physical vitality and purely physical functions to psychic and spiritual awareness.
For the past 30 years, Kleine has worked as a professional sculptor focusing mainly on stone and bronze.
